Thank you for the bug report/test case. -- Ben Escoto I'm also testing rdiff-backup but I get lot of: Warning: lchown missing, cannot change ownership of symlink / On command: rdiff-backup -v4 --print-statistics --exclude-other-filesystems /localpath address@hidden::/remotepath The ownership on symlink (remote directory) are set to root:root instead of the expected user:group... Is this result expected? Both systems (client/server) have the same config: rdiff-backup 1.0.4 Redhat 9 (2.4.32) Python 2.2.2 (#1, Feb 24 2003, 19:13:11) [GCC 3.2.2 20030222 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.2-4)] on linux2 Thanks! Ben |
