Occasionally, I write a large file (like an ISO) to the network and forget to delete it after it is burned / needed. Is there a way to delete this file from the repo without causing problems with the rest of the repo?
I believe you can just go and delete the increment file from rdiff-backup-data/increments. You will get a warning if you try to restore that file but the restore will otherwise continue. At least that has been my experience. Your mileage may vary, make a copy of the repo to test first, etc.
