Also take a look at http://clarkconnect.org/ it's a firewall distribution
based on RedHat 7.2 Minimum requirements are a 486, 32MB RAM, and a 500 MB
disk.
I have not had a chance to look at the installer they are using, but it
should be a good place to start.
