[Rule-list] installer options |

Hi,
I'd like to float some ideas about possible installers.
A floppy based install that then asks for the Red Hat disks. I believe
this is the way the current installer works.
A single CD that boots and installs rule, both the OS and the
applications. This would be a Red Hat install that could be further
modified with the Red Hat disks but would not require the Red Hat
disk set to install.
Any other ideas? A network install?
I see these installers as something to use until Red Hat supports
rule and also as providing value even after rule can be installed from
the Red Hat disks.
It would also be nice if a rule system could create rule install media.
This would mean adding cd burn software to the base install. Floppy
disk installs are easy to duplicate. And these procedures need to be
automated and foolproof.
If I have a rule system with a cd burner I want to be able to make
more rule install media.
Don't you?
And I may not know how to.
Do you?
Thanks,
Hairy Larry
