        Maybe you could call it GEMS = GEMS's Enterprise
Messaging System. That would not lead people to think it's already part
of the GNU project while making it easy to transform into GEMS = 
GNU Enterprise Messaging System when it is.

        If you like this solution, please submit the project again.
