Hi,

I'm also a member of sf.net's makepp, and there I always do SSL-CVS
with my
password and nothing else. At savannah I'm lost. I tried to follow
the
instructions as follows.
$ ssh-keygen -t rsa
Generating public/private rsa key pair.
Enter file in which to save the key (/home/pfeiffer/.ssh/id_rsa):
Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase): xxxxxx
Enter same passphrase again: xxxxxx
Your identification has been saved in /home/pfeiffer/.ssh/id_rsa.
Your public key has been saved in /home/pfeiffer/.ssh/id_rsa.pub.
The key fingerprint is:
a4:89:83:e2:90:46:78:71:55:88:05:e7:eb:36:0a:e5 address@hidden
$ ln ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub ~/.ssh/identity.pub
Here I also pasted the complete contents of this file into the
web-form.
$ echo $CVS_RSH
ssh
$ cvs -z3 -d address@hidden:/cvsroot/emacs co emacs
address@hidden's password:
Neither the savannah password, nor the passphrase x-ed out above
work.
Now
what does it want me to type in? Does it take a long time to get
activated?
