Hi Robert, There was a recent problem with outgoing email on the web
frontend UI system. Two actually. That caused all of the
confirmation email to queue. It's been fixed and that's why a large
batch of email went out all at once.
Thanks for reporting the problem though! Some things have automatic
checks to detect problems but there are so many possibilities that
other things do not. Problem reports are always appreciated. :-)
