I suspect your guess is correct.  It should be marginally faster to
foreground a suspended screen display then to attach anew.  I also suspect
that the margin is far too small to be noticeable on most computers in use
today.  I never use suspend.

No; just the screen client you used to attach to the session in the first
place.
