But what happens for example if I have the following setup:
~> echo "a" >> some_file
~> echo "b" >> some_file
~>
######0 bash############
~> tail -f some_file
a
b
######1 bash############
How does the text in the lower region scroll when I enter more "echo"
commands in the upper region. The scroll region, after all, is set to
the upper region.
