It's kinda discussed in the manpage. ^A+<num> only works for
one-digit numbers. You can access the other numbers with ^A+N and
^A+". Personally, I set my window manager to catch Alt+<num> and
Shift+Alt+<num>, where shift adds 10, so Shift+Alt+5 switches to
window 15.
