So just to be clear, I should be using the very latest gcc? I guess it
would be pre-3.2? I ask since I've heard that keeping up with the
latest gcc CVS is a good way to get failed compiles and broken
compilers.

Ok, thanks. I use the newer versions since I was getting bitten by some
limitations of the older automakes.
