Did a short test on a GNU/Linux ppc system, 
with Python: 1.5.2  Tkinter: 1.27  Tcl/Tk: 8.0.

It compiled and ran. 
Only noticed:

README: Should not have the major change since 0.6.12 in there.
About Dialog: missed copyright going to 2003.
