The error appears with both options. I have now tried it with two
different dumps.

KDB/key on my old system is huge and takes a very long time to send
from Atlanta to Munich. After I went to bed last night, the ssh
connection dropped, interrupting the transfer. (I really need to get
in the habit of using screen.) I am trying the transfer again.
