We have hit: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/566801

Looks like this is only triggered when more than two GdlDockItems are
docked the way we do. This was fixed in gdl-2.25.92, so anyone whose
distribution has an older version, please file bugs against your
distribution for a backported fix. I am trying to get a fix for Fedora
10.
