With our initial first view of 50 thumbnails and no enlarged views, we
are consuming LESS THAN 50% of memory as compared to Eye of GNOME,
which shows 7 thumbnails and one enlarged view.

Did you mention 'speed'? You got to run it yourself to know that. :-)
