A cronjob that will run on all of the www tree and see if there are
translated documents not
listed in the page?
I think it would be wiser to create something that inspects every new file
added through the CVS
(I don't know the technical details of how to do that), and if it has an
.xx.html (xx stands for
language code) suffix, then letting the relevant people know.
This can also be done by a cronjob that finds all documents created after a
certain date, and
reporting them in case they have the .xx.html suffix.
They seem more or less equivalent to me, so I don't care
which one you do, but I suggest you do whichever one you can
do most easily. If you can do one of them on your own, that would
avoid the trouble of coordinating with others.
Going a bit further, I would suggest creating a list of
translations for each page which will be included in a separate
file (instead of being part of the document as it is today) and
will be used by the page and all it's translations (I prefer the
list to be in UTF-8/native names form, but this still has to be
discussed).
This is more work so it may not be worth the trouble.
