masterpath FileSync is a real-time and scheduled file replication and synchronisation software for servers on TCP/IP networks. It is a synchornisation/replication software designed for replicating or synchronising a master server with multiple slave(Client) servers. The master server hosts the source of the folders/files that will be propagated to all the slave servers. It is a robust, fast, reliable, and secure software that works on any windows server on the net. It uses TCP/IP protocol to communicate and transfer data. There is no additional software or setup required on either the master server or any of the slave servers. It can replicate to virtually an unlimited number of slaves and unlimited number of folders. It works on any topology of network.

It is ideal for:

Load balanced web servers: One server will act as the source of the files while all other web servers in the cluster will be synchronised. You only have to upload or change the files on one server (the master). All the other server will be affected immediately.

Distributed servers: If all servers need to have the same files of a specific application or settings (e.g. shared default settings or shared configurations), then you can setup one of the servers as the master server and all other servers will be synchronised with it.

Backup system across the internet: You can set it up so that any PC can back up files to a backup server on the internet.

Automatic application staging: For web sites when one build is ready on a server, it will be pushed automatically to the live server (or the staging server). |
