URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?39090> Summary: attempt to malloc() value close to 2^64 when scrolling with mouse Project: WeeChat Submitted by: otters Submitted on: Tue 28 May 2013 02:56:05 AM GMT Category: None Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: None Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 0.4.1 IRC nick: otters _______________________________________________________ Details: When scrolling up in a buffer using my mouse: weechat-curses(1196) malloc: *** mmap(size=18446744073690892192) failed (error code=12) *** error: can't allocate region *** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug gets dumped into the current display (screenshot: http://puu.sh/32IKt.png). If I force weechat to redraw, it goes away. It doesn't look like anything sinister is happening when this error occurs: weechat functions properly and memory usage looks fine. Pretty sure it's happening when the top of the userlist the client received when I joined passes the halfway point in the current buffer. The error happens in all the rooms I'm in with more than about 200 users, across multiple networks. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?39090> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
