Hi Joop, all,
Hello Tomi,
I received a feature request for the gMFSK <-> XLog communication the
other day. Basically the user wanted to have a way for getting the
freq/band information from his CAT rig.
As a simple solution how would this sound: gMFSK could send the log info
just like it has before but if the band field were "CAT" or maybe "HAMLIB"
then XLog would ask the info from hamlib? Does this sound feasible Joop?
Yes.
I would prefer sending an empty band field, e.g.
'mhz:' instead of 'mhz:14'. I already look
for empty 'date:' and 'time:' fields, so this
would be a similar solution:
date:\1time:\1call:pa4tu\1mhz:\1mode:rtty\1tx:579\1rx:569
BTW, I could do the same for the 'mode:' and 'tx:' fields.
Does this look okay to you?
Joop
