Wait for 1.6.2 to reach Ubuntu or install the latest Debian or Hardy
package. I guess you need to enable "Ubuntu Universe", see:
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Repositories/Ubuntu
Hardy packages at http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/hamradio/xlog
Compiling from source is also an option...
