I’m new here, but just found the accessibility statement for Gnu yesterday. It seems a bit dated, with mentions of Flash and Microsoft Silverlight, technologies which aren’t used anymore, with the most accessible Desktop environment now being Mate, instead of Gnome, Mate being now preferred by many blind Linux users, and KDE beginning work on accessibility.
Hope this helps a bit, and as a blind person who can’t code yet, but who can write rather well, knows a bit of HTML and uses Markdown daily, I’d love to help wherever I can. |
