Dear Activists,

Presidential candidate Chriss Dodd has asked the public what they want
more of. Personal campaign pages? New ways to donate? These seem
pretty normal, but there's one option we think you'd be interested in.
The are thinking about "[providing] you the raw footage from
commercial shoots to mash-up into user-generated pieces". Sounds
pretty cool doesn't it? Let's make this standard practice: Public
domain or copyleft, DRM-free, open-formatted content. So go ahead tell
him to do it, and be sure to ask him to use an open format like OGG
and a copyleft license or public domain depending on what you want.
