AUCTeX should handle file names with spaces in them.  The way to do
this is to not call tex/latex with "\input ...".  We can pretty much
do everything necessary for that with command line options, except
TeX-DVI-via-PDFTeX.

It would also partly (would not work with C-c C-b or C-c C-r) fix a
concern of Polish users who often use
% -translation-file
comments in order to get some inputenc equivalent.  Those comments get
ignored when we use "\input ...".
