Ok with me. I'd would want to ask those rolling the release files to
make sure that the version numbers in their finished tarballs/XEmacs
balls are correct, preferably by doing a tagged export (I think that
is the default done from within the Makefile, anyway).
This check may be particularly needed for rolling the documentation.
IIRC, some of it is not created in an exported tree: this would be
particularly prone to wrong numbers.
