[AUCTeX-devel] .emacs error

Hello

 

I am trying to install Auctex through emacs and I get auctex.el file not found;  here are the lines in m .emacs fie

 

(add-to-list 'load-path "c:/program files/emacs/site-lisp/auctex/")

(add-to-list 'Info-default-directory-list "c:/program files/emacs/site-lisp/auctex/doc/")

(add-to-list 'load-path "~/elisp")

(load "auctex.el" nil t t)

(load "preview-latex.el" nil t t)

 

Pretty sure it’s my mistake but don’t know how to fix it.  Thank you for your help.
