Just wondering...  Would searching for the string "mark" within any
save-excursion forms be a good idea?  I mean, it might yield a lot of
false positives, but I would guess not many real cases would slip
through.  And it's better than just sitting around and waiting for some
obscure bug to manifest itself.

Would you want me to run such search?
