Hmm, this is strange; I'm not really knowledgeable about this, but I
always thought PTY wins over pipe. At any rate, can you do me a favor
and install the change suggested after testing it? I think it is small
enough so we don't need the copyright paperwork. I can't currently
check if Yuri has signed it already.
