    Use 'ls -r' in order to try newer version before older ones. Simplify ls 
pattern so also dylibs are detected.

    Use 'ls -r' rather than non-portable tool 'tac'. Simplify filepattern in ls 
expression so dylib (on OSX) are also detected.
