Sure, a great deal of autoconf is sugar, but most of the sugar ment
purely for making it easier to do m4 programming is in libm4.m4 - the
other sugar has purposes specific for configure-script programming.

I think I like m4sugar.m4 best, now that I've slept on it.  Still
haven't made up my mind completely, though...
