Hm, I don't understand what you mean, maybe it's a problem of
vocabulary.
First, a question: a cygwin-gcc (cross-compiler) will:
cygwin-gcc -c foo.c => foo.o or foo.obj
cygwin-gcc -c foo.c -o foo.o => foo.o I guess
cygwin-gcc foo.c -o foo => foo or foo.exe
