I forgot to mention that ``invisibly'' (maybe I should write this down
in the ChangeLog) the previous patch introduces a subtle difference as
compared to the previous scheme: macros are provided *after* they have
been expanded, while before they were provided *before*.
I've always been in favor of this change, but I seem to recall
Alexandre had an objection, which I forgot :( Still, the test suite
passes, and it's already quite a strength test for AC_REQUIRE.
