Okay, I changed the ChangeLog entry retroactively:

       * lib/autotest/general.m4 
(PARSE_ARGS,PARSE_ARGS_END,HELP,HELP_MODES,
       HELP_TUNING,HELP_OTHER,HELP_END,PREPARE_TESTS,TESTS_END): Define and
       use new diversions in preparation for accepting new arguments and
       allowing scripting around tests.
       (OPTIONS,TAIL): Remove these diversions to make way for the ones 
above.
