The current situation is that AC_CONFIG_LIBOBJ_DIR contains a check
which contains a typo, thus it's almost impossible to trigger it.

It looks as if the intention was to allow only characters `m4_cr_symbols2'
in the parameter. But this wouldn't allow characters - . /
In particular, our beloved ``build-aux'' would be ``invalid''.
I don't want to bother with this any more; I propose to remove the broken
check. OK?
