When sending patches, please convince your mailer to use a text MIME type
rather than quoted-printable application/octet-stream, so that patches can
be read inline (my mailer insists on turning plain .patch suffix into a
binary MIME type against my will, but I haven't been bothered to figure
out why, because I discovered that my .patch<nn> idiom so easily defeats
my mailers stupidity).
