If by that you mean to make an Autoconf snapshot available in
Debian "unstable", then that isn't really practical before the
next version of Debian is released, since we're currently in a
freeze.

I could upload an Autoconf snapshot to Debian "experimental", but
that probably wouldn't help much to get widespread use.
