hi Stefano,
Yes, I can tell what difference it makes :) But as you
do not seem to use it elsewhere. And also when passing
just the name of the variable, I am confident I am not
moving large strings by copy. But then again, you are
right, I don't know how GNU Make is written; it's just
a reflex.
