There is nothing but trust here. If someone wants to hurt you, given
that `install' is very likely to be run by root, there is nothing to
do but completely check what's going to be done.

But for the other targets, the environment of root being usually so
different, it's a bad idea to be root when running them.

That's why I wrote `but for make install'.
