....and Scott Dattalo is a nice person to work with.  I once asked him
about supporting other CPUs.  He wrote me that he had written the
simulator with the design goald in mind that it should be
CPU-independant, but of course, as long as there's only one actual CPU
implementation, projects like this usually develop a number of
unforeseen problems when it actually comes to porting it to something
else.

(For the single and only PIC project i did so far, that simulator
turned out to be quite helpful to me.)
