Hello All,
Well it is up and running. I basically had 3
problems.
1. The fuse for the internal 1 MHz clock was set. I
had the uart.h file set for the wrong clock frequency.
2. I had the STK500/501 setup wrong. I had just
assumed that the serial port pins would be the same as
the 8515. Silly me :). I was just a little bit
disappointed in finding out that the UART0 pins, E0
and E1 are also used in the programming of the
Atmega128. I have to remove the jumper wire on the
STK500/501 board before programming :(.
3. I had to change SIG_UART_TRANS and SIG_UART_RECV
to SIG_UART0_TRANS and SIG_UART0_RECV.
Thank you very much for all of the help. We are
really having fun now! I just love this stuff.
I hope that everybody has a great weekend. Take
care.....
