[avr-gcc-list] Debugging under linux

Hi.

I want to debug some of my code under linux for a AT90S8535 and wonder
what everyone does. I thought about simulavr but it doesn't support my
chip. I tried to make a coff file for avr studio (via wine) but avr studio
complained about not finding some source code and then said it had an
error in the coff file.  Any ideas on how to go about it?
