Ok, one workaround is to configure with --enable-doc then do: make -k all installThe -k switch tells make to keep on going even in the presence of errors. So when building the docs fail, make will then continue with the install, and descend into /doc/examples and correctly install the examples.
However, note that it installed them into: share/doc/avr-libc-1.4.1/examplesThe version name is appended in the directory name. I don't know if that was intended or not.
