If it can gen pdf and html that would work here. cygwin has texinfo 
though I know nothing about it.

In the private thread with Joerg I mentioned that I did *not* want to 
get rid of the man page.

The idea here is that man pages are not the typical help system on 
Windows and something more is required. Especially to include more 
information (e.g. reference schematic, config file format, platform 
dependencies, etc.)

I'm not thrilled with providing typical Windows help formats, i.e. MS 
Help, MS HTML-Help. They are typically binary formats and the HTML-
Help is M$'s "embrace, extend, extinguish" philosophy. For Windows 
users straight HTML is a good format and PDF is also a good format.

DocBook is virtually unknown on this platform to the best of my 
knowledge.
