AVRDUDE also supports a per-user config file that supports everything
that can be specified in the main config file. On Unix the name is
~/.avrduderc. That way you can override the default programmer and
ports without having to modify any files that might get replaced if
you upgrade to a newer version at some point.
Anything in ~/.avrduderc takes precedence over the system wide config
file.
