Hi,

I'm seeing a strange problem, and I don't know if it is avrdude or what.
On two different projects I have found that if I don't program the
eeprom data when I program the flash, my firmware does not work
correctly or at all. This happens even if I make a minor change to my
code that should not affect the eeprom data. The errors seem somewhat
erratic. Mostly it seems that the firmware does not run at all, and
when it does it does strange things.

Is it normal to have to reprogram the eeprom each time? If not, any
ideas what is going on?

I'm using Ubuntu 8.10 with avr-gcc 4.2.2 and avrdude 5.5; with a JTAGICE
MkII. This is my first AVR project so go easy on me!
