Details:

Getting started with AVR's, I wanted to bootstrap myself with a simple serial
port bit-banging programmer despite having only USB serial (Prolific 2303)
adapters available.

That didn't work, but only because the -i delay wasn't being applied to all
pin state transitions.

With this patch and the osx-pl2303 driver (the one from prolific.com.tw
doesn't allow bit banging at all), communication starts working at -i 1000 and
is reliable at -i 5000.

This gives a flash write rate of no more than 2 bytes/s, but that's
acceptable for the occasional initialization of a fancier programmer or a boot
loader.
