Details:
AVRDude trunk (and latest 5.10 release) issues an invalid
CMD_CHECK_TARGET_CONNECTION command when an CMD_ENTER_PROGRAM_ISP command
fails on the AVRISP-MKII. The ENTER_PROGRAM_ISP command only exists on the
STK600, and does not exist on the AVRISP-MKII. For the AVRISP-MKII, the code
should instead issue a CMD_GET_PARAMETER with the parameter ID set to
PARAM_STATUS_TGT_CONN. The returned parameter information is virtually
identical to the CMD_CHECK_TARGET_CONNECTION information, except the bit
ordering is different.
