Please make sure to use the SVN version to base your patches against.
There have been a number of changes recently (in particular also to
the config file syntax).

If I'm not mistaken, DFU also ought to work on older MegaAVR devices,
doesn't it? Unfortunately, I'm afraid I've already been erasing the
loader on all of mine, but I think Dean Camera has a rewritten DFU
bootloader as part of his USB project.
