If I make install in doc dir, everything is ok:

address@hidden ~/docs/cvs/ayttm/doc]$ sudo make install

/bin/sh ../mkinstalldirs /usr/local/man/man1
 /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 ./ayttm.1 /usr/local/man/man1/ayttm.1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/colin/docs/cvs/ayttm/doc'

Anyway Makefile is generated from Makefile.am, if it was broken it would
be due to auto* tools and we couldn't do anything against it...
