[Bino-list] Patch: Equalizer error messages

Martin,

attached is a patch which properly sets error codes, to be transported back to 
the application.

I'm aware this needs Eq trunk (does not work with 0.9.1), but I'm submitting 
the patch anyways. I will submit it to my git repo, I guess it's best we sync 
my repo to the upstream when the next Eq version is released.
