Dear Pietro,
The loop button is unfortunately only enabled when playing the video. When you stop or pause it becomes disabled (Martin, that seems like an easy one to fix). I just tried on the sample you sent me, and the first time I tried on your video it didn't work (pressing the loop button stopped everything), but then I tried on other videos and when I switched back to yours it worked. Now I cannot reproduce the problem anymore... Another disturbing behavior is that keyboard shortcuts (for example "f" for fullscreen) are only available when the video is playing or paused, not when it's stopped. As a consequence, there is no way to start the video using the keyboard.
I agree with you that Bino should display the first frame right after opening the video, or when it's stopped, as if the buttons "play" and "pause" were pressed one after the other whenever the video is opened or stopped. That way, the player would always be in "pause" mode, and all the keyboard shortcuts would work anytime.
This one is probably more difficult to fix, because bino runs on many different systems (linux, windows, macosx). Can you describe how it behaves for you: - do you have the bino window on the main monitor (with the menubar) or a secondary monitor? - does it go fullscreen on the main monitor or on a secondary monitor? Fred PS for all others: the latest bino with the loop mode patch precompiled for MacOSX (Intel 64bits only, so you need at least a Core2 CPU) is available from:
